Saturday’s surf conditions were pretty average, some of the local surf breaks like Avoca were flat, lifeless and surferless as well. Then you head to Terrigal and off the rocks it is a totally different story. Huge walls of water coming through, brown foam, the Terrigal rockshelf looked more like Somersby Falls after a downpour and a ton of morning surfers looking for a spot. Aside from trying to catch a wave you first had to get out of there, watched many a surfer look at launching off the rocks and then wisely deciding not too. The guys in the top shot pondered for a good 10 minutes and then turned back and found another way out. Good move. !!
