Quite a start to the week, finishing off two photo courses over the weekend in Sydney and on The Central Coast. The weather held off as best it could and rewarded us with nice light on sunset. Sydney as a city always has a lot to offer the camera owner from the wide angle to the creative angles you can get if you think outside of the box. Our last Sydney Course for the year is running on the 3rd of August for those that are interested.
Last week I took delivery of a 15mm fisheye lens for the 5D MK II and combined that with a new port for my underwater housing so with this new set up I have jumped back in the water, I could have picked better timing seeing we are heading into winter. But if I can make it through the winter shooting, summer will be a breeze.
Well its a wet week ahead, I have a few interesting ideas of things I can be out doing with my underwater housing on land, so next week expect a few of those images to hit the site, or follow me on facebook to catch a glimps.
A few rolls of film are off to the lab, final printed proofs for my next three books have been checked, signed off on and sent back for completion. Delivery in Australia still on the cards for late next month, (May) but customs can take a while. The three titles of the books are, “Sydney Splendour” , “Sydneys Eastern Beaches” and “The Central Coast” . Each book has a RRP of $14 and discounts are given for buying multiple books. Once these three books are out, that’s five books I will have published, the other two are Newcastle and The Northern Beaches.
