The city of Melbourne is a bright and vibrant city bathed in a rich culture of art, theatre, fine dining and one that has embraced it’s history showcasing it’s heritage buildings.
Back in the mid 1800’s Melbourne was home to many who had visions of grandeur of making it rich in Victoria’s goldfields a time known as the “Gold Rush”, with tent cities being formed along the Yarra River. Towards the end of the 1800’s Melbourne was the 2nd largest city in the British Empire after London.
Through the 1900’s World War one and Two took their toll on Melbourne like it did any city and these events among others formed and moulded the city to what it is today. Modern, Cultural, Diverse and Proud.
