I had visualised this shot for some time as I wanted to shoot something different other than the typical wide landscape shot and I scouted several locations where I could make this happen, it wasn’t easy to get, but I got in the end as waiting for the right day and conditions is a factor as well seeing Circular Quay is so busy.
This shot has so much detail in it that on the wharf second in from the right there is a Telstra pay phone booth and at “Actual Pixels’ you can see the while phone icon set in the orange roof on the booth.
that is very cool Matt, I like the selective focus and subtle colour.
Great effect with the selective focusing, gives it that ‘model’ look. You found a few new great angles on Sydney!
Nice shot mate , did you apply a tilt shift filter ?
All ways wanted to try this but never had gives it a real model toy like look .
Works well with this shot
Looks just like a photo of a diorama from a model magazine, eat you heart out Verlinden Publications! And Tamiya.
