Well it was about time. I had my papers signed off by two full members for a quite a while now (thanks guys… you know who you are) and I got them in late last year. So now I am a full member. Yay !!
Lets see if I can get NSW Landscape Photographer of the Year. 🙂 might be a bit of a stretch.
Congratulations Matt – well done ! – you deserve it.
Oh congratulations Matt…… I am still just an emerging member myself…. and I don’t think NSW Landscape Photographer of the Year is a stretch…… Always great to have a goal and I think that one is in reach for you!!! 🙂
Clarie
mad!!! hmm soo whats this meen your a pro now ??
Thanks for the kind words guys…
Mitch I think the term professional photographer has got lost in translation over the years. I’ve seen people who have done photography for six months as a hobby register a .com and call themselves professional as it sounds good to prospective customers.
I think the AIPP among other things pus a bit more regulation and validity on the term professional photographer being used. Tom Putt wrote a good blog entry about the term being used and over used. But this topic is another blog entry in itself.
At the end of the day it isn’t about a title, it is about the quality of your work, how you present it and this is what should be focused on.
Congrats Matt, I should probably become an ’emerging member’ some time. 🙂
Congratulations Matt, well deserved. I think you’re a certain for NSW Landscape Photographer of the Year but I think you should aim higher:)
lets go australian photographer of the year man 😉
congratulation man 😉
Congrats Matt! 🙂
