Well its all done my Hasselblad 500CM with the 40mm wide angle distagon F4 lens is on it’s way. The 40mm lens has an 88 degree angle of view, its awesome. Quite expensive for a second hand lens but its worth it.
It will make a nice addition to my growing collection of photographic toys.
looking forward to seeing the new photos you take with your hasselblad. I’m sure they’ll be beautiful like all your other photos
that didn’t take long!, after looking at some photos on your flickr, i kinda like the square photo lol, i wanna use one 😛
Yea it is a great format. Get yourself one… cheaper than a 617 camera.
would be good!, how much do they go for?
wait are them photos on flickr just crops from a 617 file? lol
Some places I have shot both 617 and 6×6 at the same time so they are similar obviously but not crops. 🙂 cheap way to own a 617 and a 6×6.
Great shot Matt, awesome warm colours, just kill that seagull.
Thanks Tom… yea seagulls are like morning walkers… everywhere.
just googled ya camera, i think i have seen people put MF digital backs on them? could you do this ?
Mitch you can… but I wont be doing that. Thats crazy $$
yep, but it would be mega cool lol…
I tried a Hasselblad but could never warm up to the left handed shutter release and the film loading. It seemed like loading the filmback took about 10 steps.
I know I”m in the minority though as they’re wonderfully crafted cameras.
Mark
Yea the film loading is a bit weird but once you got it your fine. Well made cameras that keep on going and going. No battery, all manual, very old school… love it. !
