This was my second trip to Cairn’s, the first was less than productive as the weather conditions were basically “pre cyclone” and a week after leaving the local Banana plantations were wiped out sending prices per kg to $19. My latest trip was nothing but sun and clear skies. A welcome change. While in Cairns I managed to squeeze in a flight over the Great Barrier Reef which was stunning.
