For all those who own the lovely 5D Mark II a new firmware version has been released by canon this month ( June 2009 ). Something that has been long awaited and demanded by those wanting better video control over the camera instead of having to trick it into the settings you want.
The firmware upgrade gives users a lot more manual control over Full aperture selection, ISO speed: Auto, 100 – 6400 and H1, Shutter speed: 1/30th – 1/4000th second.
The firmware can be downloaded from this link.
It is a 9.2MB download (you can download for MAC or PC) and you can also download pdf documents that guide you through using the new upgraded features and also how to install and upgrade your 5D with the new firmware. Nice one Canon !!
