I don’t know about you lot, but for me I have been confronted many a time in Sydney especially by security guards when ever I pull out my camera (especially with the Fuji GX617) and you are asked all kinds of questions about the images use etc and they may even push their luck and try and get you to hand over your personal details (Name, DOB etc). Good luck getting that info.
Anyway for you guys out there here is a link to a site that has a great write up on your rights as a photographer in NSW along with case law reference, so you know where you stand with it all. It also explains your rights on private property, copyright, can they make you delete your images etc. It is a great read and not just for landscape shooters but for all of us out there in the field doing our job or passion.
You can also download and print off a little summary sheet to keep on you if you like.
