Well this morning I decided to venture out a bit and shoot some new areas aside from the Central Coast, so here is a digital panoramic I took as the sun breached the horizon at Newcastle. This is the road way that links Newcastle Beach to Nobbys Beach with Nobbys Beach Lighthouse in the background.
This shot has amazing detail. I also shot this spot on the Fotoman 6×24 after seeing how this shot came up after editing I kind of feel like I wasted my film. Oh well… guess digital has to win sometimes.
YOU REALLY HAVE TO SEE THIS ONE LARGE SO CLICK ON THE IMAGE TO “VIEW LARGE”
love it mate, the light on the houses is realy realy nice
Nice one, gives me an idea for a Tut! Blending water/surf without the aid of an ND! Reminds me of some stitches from my Sydney trip i need to get on too…
Thanks Matt… I didnt have to touch the water in this shot it just came out perfect. Each shot was 5 secs. There is bugger all done to this other than a nice “curve” and then balancing the tones and colours right.
My last three uploaded tutorials cover it all. 🙂
Nice work Matt. Last week i saw your star trails video on rubbing pixels and was blown away. I do prefer the smaller amount of trails then the joining of say 100 pictures. Just my opinion though ;~)
Nice Matt, I am really liking the 624, I do hope an affordable digital 617 or 624 come out soon.
Hey mate, possible to get a print like this on canvas? Would love to hang it up on my wall.
hi matt, i love the photo. in fact i came across it in google images and used it for a header banner on a website for the salvos without thinking. we are a program that helps young people with drug and alcohol issues in newcastle so i was looking for a good novocastrian photo for the header of the website and came across yours. we were wondering what the legal issues would be of using your photo for our website. would u mind if we used it?
